Philosophy
At ABCDee Learning Center, we believe childhood should be treasured, not rushed. Kids should have the space and freedom to be kids for as long as possible-playing, exploring, laughing, and learning in ways that feel natural and joyful.
Our philosophy centers on the idea that a familiar and comfortable routine builds a child’s sense of security and well-being. Strong relationships with parents and caregivers allow us to truly know each child, tailoring care and learning experiences to fit their unique personality, strengths, and needs.
Social and emotional development is at the heart of everything we do. We help children learn to understand their feelings, express themselves in healthy ways, practice patience, build empathy, and navigate relationships with kindness and respect. These skills lay the foundation for lifelong confidence, resilience, and success.
We believe learning should be hands-on, play-based, and full of wonder. Our caring teachers create engaging, curiosity-filled environments where children can explore and discover at their own pace, with the gentle guidance, encouragement, and praise they need to grow.
Most importantly, every child at ABCDee is loved, heard, and valued. We are committed to creating a safe, nurturing space where children grow academically, socially, and emotionally-while still enjoying the magic of childhood.
About Us
Drawing on years of hands-on experience with young children, Alison and Connie have created a school where each child is nurtured, supported, and celebrated for who they are.
Alison, our owner, spent years running an in-home daycare, where she saw firsthand the benefits of a low teacher-to-student ratio and the importance of quality over quantity. She believes in providing a loving, nurturing environment where each child feels seen and supported.
Connie, our director, comes from a background as an elementary school teacher. During her years in the classroom, she noticed how many children experienced stress and anxiety within the traditional school system. This inspired her to create a space where children are allowed to truly be kids-exploring, playing, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace-without being pushed into academics too early.
Together, Alison and Connie combined their experiences and philosophies to create a school where social-emotional development comes first. Academics are introduced in an age-appropriate, play-based manner, allowing children to develop a love of learning while building confidence, independence, and curiosity.
We maintain teacher-to-child ratios lower than the Texas DFPS recommendations, ensuring individualized attention and support for every child. At ABCDee, children are celebrated for who they are and encouraged to grow in a safe, stimulating, and joyful environment.
Our Programs
Our program prepares children for Kindergarten and beyond by nurturing curiosity, confidence, and a genuine love of learning. We believe early childhood should be filled with exploration, discovery, and joy—because children learn best when they are actively engaged.
Through outdoor play, hands-on exploration, and plenty of messy, joyful experiences, children build essential skills like social-emotional awareness, independence, creativity, and problem-solving. Rather than rushing academics, we create an environment where learning happens naturally through play, guided by each child’s interests.
When children feel confident, capable, and excited about their environment, meaningful learning follows—and that strong foundation stays with them far beyond the classroom.

We are proud to be an all-inclusive learning center. We provide everything your child needs throughout the day - including meals, diapers and pull-ups, wipes, napping supplies (sheets, blankets, cot covers), water bottles, diaper cream, sunscreen, insect repellent, curriculum, and all classroom materials.
Our goal is to make your mornings as stress-free as possible, so you can focus on what matters most: enjoying quality time with your child while we take care of the daily details.
