ABCDee was created by Alison and Connie, whose backgrounds in early childhood care and elementary education shaped a shared belief: children thrive when they feel safe, known, loved, and free to be children.
Alison’s years operating an in-home childcare program showed her the value of small groups, strong relationships, and individualized attention.
Connie’s experience as an elementary teacher reinforced the importance of protecting childhood from unnecessary academic pressure and giving children time to play, explore, make mistakes, and grow with confidence.

Our play-based program prepares children for kindergarten and beyond through hands-on learning, outdoor exploration, meaningful relationships, and real childhood experiences. Social-emotional development is at the heart of what we do, while academics are introduced naturally and intentionally through play.
